Twist and Shout.

Non ce la faccio, non posso scrivere ogni volta che questo è stato il concerto piu’ bello della mia vita. Non lo so, non sono in grado di dirlo. So che sicuramente è stato un concerto fantastico. E che se questo è stato l’ultimo concerto della E Street Band, allora questo è stato il concerto perfetto.

Non posso credere che questo ragazzone di quasi 60 anni sia in grado di cantare e condurre uno show di tre ore a ritmi pazzeschi. Eppure l’ho visto urlare, correre, buttarsi sulla folla e godersi questo concerto quasi quanto noi.

Ed interagire con il pubblico, ancora più del solito.

Dio santo, ti viene come minimo da chiederti da dove cazzo gli venga tutta questa vitalità. Di sicuro, caro Bruce, non fai parte di quei guys that just give up livin’ and start dying little by little, piece by piece… Tanto per fare una citazione e per collegarmi a Racing in the street. Capolavoro, ho avuto i brividi per tutta la canzone, nonostante i 35 gradi.

E’ stata la sera di Darkness on the edge of town, l’album: Candy’s Room, Prove it all night, Racing, Badlands e….. Because the night. Stava per venire giù lo stadio.

Se esiste qualche dio del rock ‘n roll, Bruce Springsteen è il suo primo profeta. Non esiste altro modo per spiegare cosa si prova durante un suo concerto, non ci sono parole: o lo si Ama, oppure non lo si è mai visto dal vivo.
Dopo due ore e mezza di show io faticavo a reggermi in piedi… come diavolo fa questo signore di cinquantotto anni a suonare, cantare e scatenarsi come un dannato praticamente ogni sera?!?

Questo post sarà fatto di schegge.

Inizia cosi’ lo show… Senza nemmeno iniziare a cantare, ci aveva già in pugno… Comunque sia, Radio nowhere è ancora piu’ bella, dal vivo!

The ties… graditissima sorpresa…ed una domanda. Chi riesce veramente a convivere con tutti questi legami?

Reason to believe in versione blues acquista un fascino particolare… e recupera buona parte di quello smalto che dopo 25 anni sembrava un po’ svanito…

Promised Land. Bella, come sempre… una scarica di energia. I cani abbaiano, perchè capiscono…

I’ll work for your love: emozionante. Bruce la dedica a noi fans, si mette la mano sul cuore prima di cantare “what others may want for free, I’ll work for your love“.

Badlands. Punto. Anzi…. diro’ di piu’. E’ un credo:

Incident: la frase giusta nel momento giusto. “Good night, it’s all right, Jane…”. Pelle d’oca.

Thunder road. Lei, Lei, Lei. “It’s a town full of losers, and I’m pullin’ out of here to win…”

American land. Bruce in passato ha aspramento criticato la politica di Bush, ed anche ieri sera non ci è andato tanto leggero: Magic, Livin’ in the future, e questa bellissima American Land. “Noi combattiamo“. And who whill make his home in the American Land?
